-Character's canon/what kind of canon it is: "Angel: The Series"/TV show
-The canonical point which your character is entering the Hotel California: Right before she was yanked off to the higher plane at the end of season 3 of Angel.
- A description of your character's appearance: roughly 5'8" and with an absolutely perfect body (I mean, really, in a different life, she might have modelled for Playboy. Her hair is currently cut short and is colored a dark blonde. She's got a dazzling smile and warm brown eyes.
- A brief description of your character's history (use the one written in the email if you prefer): She spent the first 16 years of her life as a spoiled rich girl and the most popular girl in school. Then Buffy showed up, Cordy learned about demons and dated a "loser," who then cheated on her with another "loser." Then she graduated and headed to Los Angeles to become an actress. Except she was the worst actress ever, so she was pretty unsuccessful and began working with Angel Investigations ("We help the hopeless!"). She started to fall in love with a half-demon named Doyle who got visions of people in trouble, but he died and passed the visions to her. After two years with the visions, she was dying from bearing them, so she became half-demon herself in order to avoid giving them up. She fell in love with Angel (her boss, the vampire with a soul), and then was recruited as a "higher being" before she could tell him. Then she was dropped back down onto Earth, except she wasn't in control of her body. The Power-That-Was that intended to use her body to give birth to itself was. And it succeeded, which knocked Cordy into a coma. And then she died, after "waking up" briefly to set Angel back on the path of good.

- A brief description of their personality (again, use the one written for the application if you prefer): When we first met Cordelia, she was spoiled nearly beyond redemption, shallow, vain, and bitchy. Basically, she was the mean head cheerleader. She was concerned with fashion and popularity above all else. Despite all this, she actually has many layers. She worked so hard to be popular, even though she usually felt completely disconnected from the people she'd surrounded herself with. She felt alone. Her justification for this was, "It beats being alone all by yourself." Soon we discovered that she was actually highly intelligent and resourceful and cared a lot about the world around her, even if she would never admit it. She was boy-crazy and dated a lot of guys. She was always very sarcastic and disliked the very idea of tact ("Tact is just not saying true stuff. I'll pass.")

A couple of years later, she actually starts to become a much better, deeper character. We see even more how intelligent and resourceful she is, and she develops into a truly loving and warm person. She has a motherly, nurturing side that comes out near some children and when patching up her friends' various injuries. Due to the visions of others in pain and trouble that she receives, she becomes much more sensitive to other people's feelings. In essence, she dedicates her life to helping others.

- A disclaimer stating that you don't own the character: I do not own Cordelia Chase. Don't get me wrong - I want to own Cordelia Chase. But she did not come from my mind. She belongs to Joss Whedon. If she were mine, well...things would have gone differently.
